MT.parts is an independent supplier of Allen-Bradley parts, with 1,697 items listed across 13 categories. The catalog runs from current hardware such as Compact 5000 I/O and ControlLogix 5580 down to platforms long out of production, including SLC 500 and PLC-5, where most sourcing calls start. Condition is declared on every item page, and numbers not listed go to our sourcing desk.

Series and families
Grouped by function. Each family covers several catalog numbers and conditions.
- ControlLogix 1756 and 5580: chassis controllers, processors, communication modules
- SLC 500 (1746) and PLC-5 (1771): legacy racks out of production, still running machines
- POINT I/O (1734), Compact I/O (1769), FLEX I/O (1794): modular and distributed I/O with bases
- FLEX 5000 and Compact 5000 I/O (5069): current EtherNet/IP I/O, safety capable modules
- PowerFlex 753, PowerFlex options, SMC-3: AC drives, HIM keypads, option boards, soft starters
- Kinetix 6000 and 5500: multi axis and single axis servo drives, power rail, IAM and AM
- Kinetix MP-Series and VP-Series: low inertia servo motors, feedback and brake options
- PanelView Standard, Plus 6, Plus 7 Standard and Performance: operator terminals, keypad to widescreen
- Guardmaster MSR (Minotaur), SensaGuard, Bulletin 100-C, 100-D, 194E, 1492, 1606-XLE: safety relays, interlocks, IEC contactors, disconnects, terminal blocks, DIN rail supplies
Condition, testing and warranty
Stock is listed as new, new original surplus, refurbished or used, with the condition on the item page next to the catalog number. New original surplus is unused inventory no longer in production, refurbished was inspected, cleaned and functionally tested, used is a working pull with wear described as found.
Units are powered up before shipping: controllers and I/O checked for communication and module status, drives run where the frame allows, HMI terminals booted, servo motors turned with feedback and brake checked. Date codes on surplus and used hardware can be older than current production.
Every item ships with a 12 month MT Parts warranty against functional failure. MT.parts is an independent supplier, so that warranty is issued and honored by MT Parts, and the Rockwell Automation factory warranty does not apply to surplus, refurbished or used stock.
How to identify the right replacement
- Full catalog number: 1756-L71 and 1756-L72 are not interchangeable, and a PowerFlex string encodes voltage, current, enclosure, filter, brake and HIM.
- Series letter and firmware: a ControlLogix has to accept your Studio 5000 or RSLogix major revision, and a PanelView Plus has to run a FactoryTalk View ME runtime matching the .MER file.
- Network and port: EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet and DH+ do not swap, and 1756-ENBT and 1756-EN2T differ in capacity and firmware.
- Wiring base and footprint: 1734 needs its wiring base, 1769 banks depend on end cap and power budget, 1794 on its terminal base, 1492 cables on the module pinout.
- Servo matching: feedback type, winding voltage, inertia class, shaft and keyway, brake and connector must agree with the drive. MP-Series and VP-Series feedback differ.
- Safety function: on MSR relays and SensaGuard switches, match contact count and type, reset behavior and the performance level your risk assessment calls for.
FAQ
How do I check if you have a catalog number?
Search it in the site search, or send it through Request a quote: condition, price and shipping come back within 24 hours. Numbers outside the 1,697 listed go to our sourcing desk.
Can you cross a discontinued catalog number?
Yes. We first look for the original number as new original surplus, refurbished or used, so the program does not change. Otherwise we name the functional equivalent and what the swap costs in rework, confirmed on the quote.
Do you supply obsolete SLC 500 and PLC-5 parts?
Yes, they are a large part of this catalog. SLC 500 (1746), PLC-5 (1771) and PanelView Standard are out of production, so surplus and refurbished units are the practical supply, confirmed per item on quote.
Are the parts new or used?
Declared per unit on the item page: new, new original surplus, refurbished or used. There is no blanket condition by brand or category. Everything is tested before shipping, with the 12 month MT Parts warranty.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes, worldwide. Quotes include freight and the commercial documents customs asks for, including HS classification and country of origin. Items under US export controls are screened before shipment.
Send the catalog number, the series letter and a nameplate photo if you have one, and we answer within 24 hours with condition, price and shipping. Request a quote for Allen-Bradley parts, listed or not.
