MT.parts is an independent supplier of Fanuc parts, and this catalog is narrow on purpose: 66 items in three categories, all of it CNC drive hardware. 46 servo and spindle amplifier modules, 16 servomotors, 4 power supply modules, almost all A06B numbers from the alpha, alpha i, alpha i-B and beta i generations. Depth where a down machining centre needs it, not invented breadth.
Fanuc parts we stock
Three categories, count in brackets. No CNC controls, panels or I/O racks, only the drive train. Availability is confirmed on quote.
- Servo Drives & Amplifiers: servo amplifier modules (SVM), spindle amplifier modules (SP) and compact beta i drives, alpha through alpha i-B (46)
- Servo Motors: alpha i and beta i motors for feed axes, turrets and auxiliary axes, with battery backed absolute pulsecoder (16)
- Industrial Power Supplies: power supply modules (PSM) feeding the common DC bus of a drive rack (4)
Series and families
One line, several generations. Generation and module type decide the fit.
- alpha (α): separate PSM, SVM and SP modules on a shared DC bus, serial command link, out of production
- alpha i (αi): the successor, FSSB fibre optic link to the control, same module split
- alpha i-B (αi-B): later alpha i revision, not an automatic drop in for the earlier number
- beta i and beta (βi, β): compact single axis drives, power stage and amplifier in one housing, for small axes and turrets
- SVM: servo amplifier module, one to three axes, sized by current per axis
- SP: spindle amplifier module off the same DC bus, with its own sensor interface
- PSM: power supply module, sized for axes plus spindle, handles regeneration
- alpha i and beta i servomotors: serial absolute pulsecoder, brake optional, taper or flange mount
Condition, testing and warranty
Each unit is listed as new, new original surplus, refurbished or used, with the condition on the item page beside the A06B number. Modules are powered up before shipping: SVM and SP for status display, bus charge and alarm history, PSM for bus voltage and fans, motors for insulation resistance, brake release and pulsecoder feedback.
Obsolescence is why this catalog exists. Alpha and early alpha i hardware is out of production, and support for those generations runs through repair and exchange rather than new module sales, which is slow with a machining centre down. A surplus, refurbished or used module with the exact A06B number leaves the machine, its parameters and its fibre layout alone, while a current generation pulls control, motors and cables with it. Every item carries a 12 month MT Parts warranty against functional failure, issued by MT Parts as an independent supplier. No Fanuc factory warranty applies to surplus, refurbished or used stock.
How to identify the right replacement
- Full A06B number: read the whole string off the label. Amplifiers start A06B-6, motors A06B-0, and the suffix carries current, axis count and options.
- Generation and interface: alpha on the older serial link, alpha i and alpha i-B on FSSB fibre, so mixing generations changes the fibre chain and the control setup.
- Axis count and current per axis: a two axis SVM is not two single axis modules, and the swap changes rack width, connectors and cooling.
- PSM sizing: the power supply has to cover axes plus spindle, in the same voltage class and module generation as its neighbours on the bus.
- Motor frame and brake: capacity, taper or flange, shaft key, brake and pulsecoder type are in the motor number, and the amplifier has to expect that feedback.
- Absolute position and battery: alpha i and beta i motors use a battery backed absolute pulsecoder, so a motor swap means reference return and zero point recovery.
FAQ
How do I check whether you have a Fanuc A06B part number?
Search the full A06B number from the label. If it is not among the 66 items listed, send it through Request a quote and we answer in 24 hours, subject to availability.
Do you supply obsolete alpha and alpha i servo amplifiers?
Yes, that is most of this catalog. Those generations are out of production, so surplus, refurbished and used modules are the only like for like route left.
Can I replace an alpha SVM with an alpha i module?
Not as a straight swap: the command interface moves from the older serial link to FSSB fibre and takes the power supply module, the motors and the control setup with it. We quote the original number first.
Are these Fanuc amplifiers and motors new or refurbished?
Declared per unit on the item page: new, new original surplus, refurbished or used. Beta i and alpha i-B are more often new or surplus, alpha usually refurbished or used.
Do you ship Fanuc parts outside the United States?
Yes, worldwide. The quote includes freight and the commercial documents customs asks for, with HS classification and origin. Items under US export control are screened before shipment.
Send the full A06B number, a photo of the label, and the machine and control it runs on. We answer in 24 hours with condition, price and shipping. Request a quote for Fanuc drive parts.
